Do I need to pay a security deposit when I arrange connection?

A security deposit will apply for domestic and business customers if you are renting your premises or have a poor credit history with Integral Energy or another electricity retailer. However, it will be waived if:

  • You are able to provide proof of ownership of the premises you are residing or running your business in eg: solicitor’s letter, rate notice, house insurance statement
  • You are able to provide a credit reference letter from another electricity retailer
  • You have a minimum of 12 months good credit history with Integral Energy

You are a residential customer and you complete a direct debit application or pay via Centrelink deductions. For more information on payment options click here
