My lights have gone out but why does the power still work?

If your lights have gone out but everything else seems to be working, firstly check for water saturation of your ceilings and light fittings inside and outside. If they are water damaged, contact Integral Energy or a licensed electrical contractor to make it safe.

Check the other rooms in your house, if there's no obvious damage to the light fittings, check the lighting circuit's fuse or circuit breaker operation at your switchboard.

Turn off your main switch and remove the light circuit fuse. If the fuse wire is not intact replace the fuse wire, but only if you can do so safely and with the right size fuse wire (If you have circuit breakers installed and they are in the off position, turn off the main switch and reset.). Make sure the fuse is reinstalled, turn on your main switch and if the fuse blows or circuit breaker trips, contact Integral Energy or a licensed electrical contractor.
