Why would my electricity supply appear to fluctuate?

If you notice unusual periodic variations in the normal brightness of your lights, some times exceedingly bright, at other times dull, or you notice your appliance motors periodically 'growling', call us immediately. These are symptoms of a potentially hazardous situation.

Immediately turn off all your motors (air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, pool filters, etc) and your other electrical appliances. Leave a minimum of lights on (but not fluorescent). Then call our Emergency Services number 131 003 and report a 'fluctuating supply situation'.

Don't turn your appliances on until an Integral Energy staff member advises you that the problem has been rectified.
