What is a Negotiated Supply Agreement?

A Negotiated Supply Agreement is an agreement between the electricity retailer and the customer. It relates to special offers an electricity retailer may make to existing or prospective customers. These offers may have specific terms and conditions including differences in price, length of the contract term, and early termination fees.

The rates under these agreements are set by the retailer along with payment options, and may be influenced by Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART) reviews.

This is different from a Standard Form Customer Supply Contract.
