Safety inspection

If you are in any doubt about the safety of your home or new house, just ask for an Integral Energy Home Electrical Safety Inspection. We’ll provide expert advice on the condition of your electrical installation both inside and out.

 

The interior inspection checks: 

 

• All permanently installed appliances like electric ovens, hotplates, range hoods, electric hot water services, electric heating and cooling equipment, the condition and integrity of the electrical earthing system
• Accessible power points to ensure they are correctly connected
• The testing of all fixed wiring to detect leakage of current
• Visible electrical fixtures, such as light fittings

 

The exterior inspection checks:

 

• All visible permanent wiring, with particular attention to the condition of cable insulation
• The condition and set-up of the meter box

 

 

Your Integral Energy inspector will discuss the findings with you and you'll receive a full written report identifying any repair work recommended. If any hazardous wiring or equipment has been identified during the inspection, this will be made safe or isolated until repairs can be made.
