Energy 21C conference

Integral Energy was proud to be a host and Platinum Sponsor of the premier energy transmission and distribution conference in the southern hemisphere, Energy 21C, which was held in Sydney in November 2007.

 

Integral Energy staff at all levels, including apprentices, were among the speakers and delegates at this major energy conference to address emerging challenges and developments in the delivery of energy in Australia.

 

With the theme ‘Energy Delivery – Solutions for the 21st Century’, the conference focussed on changing demands in the supply of electricity and gas and the challenges and opportunities for the delivery of reliable and environmentally sustainable energy. Several sessions, including the opening summit, were dedicated to climate change issues.

 

The program covered presentations, panel discussions, exhibits and field trips to inspect energy infrastructure, including Integral Energy's contemporary Bella Vista zone substation in Sydney's west, and our substation construction projects at Mt Ousley and Springhill in the Illawarra.
