If you are upgrading your electrical installation or plan to construct a new home, building or development and it is within Integral Energy’s network area, you will need to ensure that there is an adequate connection to our electrical network.
In some circumstances Integral Energy’s electrical infrastructure may need to be extended or upgraded to accommodate your additional electrical load. |
In accordance with the Electricity Supply Act 1995 you may be required to arrange for and contribute to the costs involved with the work to supply your load. Any such work is deemed to be "contestable works" and is to be undertaken by an Accredited Service Provider of your choice.

Finding an Accredited Service Provider
The Electricity Supply Act 1995 requires that service providers who undertake contestable works must be accredited by the Office of Fair Trading. Accredited Service Providers (ASPs) must also be authorised by Integral Energy to undertake contestable works within Integral Energy's network area.
A list of Accredited Service Providers is maintained by the Office of Fair Trading. This list and its related information is available at the Office of Fair Trading website >> or by contacting the Office of Fair Trading on (02) 9895 0008.
In addition to Office of Fair Trading accreditation of ASP’s, Integral Energy pre-qualifies level 1 and level 3 ASP’s to undertake the design or construction of transmission assets (33 kV – 132 kV). A list of pre-qualified ASP’s is available in PDF format.
