For suppliers
As a NSW state owned corporation, Integral Energy ensures that procurement is undertaken in accordance with strict procedures and protocols.
Most requirements for goods and services above Integral Energy’s “tender threshold” are competed for in the open market and advertised in the press and on this website.
Generally Requests for Expressions of Interest or Tenders remain open for 2 weeks.
In order to submit conforming Expressions of Interest and Tenders, it is essential that suppliers comply with all of the requirements set out in the Request for Expressions of Interest or Request for Tender documents.
Conforming Expressions of Interest and Tenders are evaluated against approved criteria by teams of employees comprising no fewer than 3 people, 1 of whom must work outside the business unit sponsoring the procurement to ensure the process is objective.
Recommendations to award contracts above a dollar threshold are subject to scrutiny by an internal committee comprising representatives from Integral Energy’s legal, corporate governance and finance branches.
Integral Energy notifies tenderers of the outcome of the process at the earliest possible time after a decision has been signed-off.
