All about energy rates

Energy Rates that are to be charged by electricity retailers for non-market customers, being those customers who are not a party to a negotiated retail contract, are set by the Queensland Minister for Mines & Energy and the Queensland Competition Authority (QCA). These energy rates are known as the Notified Prices and are published in Queensland Government Gazette and can be viewed at http://www.dme.qld.gov.au/Energy/electricity_retail_prices.cfm on the Queensland Department of Mines and Energy website.

Energy Rates that are to be charged by Integral Energy for market customers, being those customers who are party to a negotiated retail contract, are set by Integral Energy. For small retail customers, these energy rates are based on the Notified Prices and may have a percentage discount off the regulated Notified Price. The percentage discount is locked in for the term of the Negotiated Retail Contract and will be set at a level depending on offers available from Integral Energy at the time of signing up on the Negotiated Retail Contract. Current discounts rates can be obtained by requesting a quote.
